The Development Roadmap not only gives you access to what's coming next and what you can expect, but also provides a facility for you, as customers, to vote on which features come next. Most features will be added in order of most-to-least votes.
The exception to this rule is when I consider a feature a "blocker". In such cases I will fast-track that feature.
